The Office of Rail Regulation (ORR) has granted Freight Europe (UK) Ltd their licence to operate freight trains through the United Kingdom on the 28th of December 2007.

Freight Europe (UK) Ltd is a subsidiary of Transport et Logistique Partenaires (TLP) and of SNCF Participations (SNCF-P), which was set up in 1996 as Freight Forwarders and Wagon Lessors to provide customers with efficient, flexible and competitive rail services, beyond the British Isles, onto the European rail network.

From 2008, Freight Europe (UK) Ltd will start operating under their own name and will look at offering train haulage in the U.K. as part of their rail freight services.

Freight Europe (UK) Ltd is implementing a strategy to develop significantly its turnover in the domestic market.

Also, with the contribution of other European subsidiaries of the Group and the supply of Fret SNCF, Freight Europe (UK) Ltd will provide its customers with train haulage services to and from the Continent meeting TLP’s ambitions for its international development.
